Gemlina are considered shrubs and small trees that can grow up to 15'+. The trunks are usually single and thicken up quickly with a large canopy of leaves. These trees are PERFECT for Mame & Shohin styles. They bud back on old wood easily. Leaves can be heart shaped, lobed or tri-tipped occurring on the same tree.
